Gabala are going to face FC Mil Mughan in the first leg match of the Azerbaijan Cup season with the round of 16 tomorrow, Thursday.
The home game against the team from Imishli, Azerbaijan, will be the 2nd tie of the pair after the first one held 2 years ago with the same experience in the cup round of 16where Gabala won 2:1 progressing into the domestic cup final round for their first-ever experience.
Mil Mughan are of the all 14 opponent sides we are struggling against in the cup.
Gabala met Baku and Qarabagh more than any other clubs in the championship after the debut in the 2005/06 season, and it is going to be the 11th season the red-black side are going to show up in the contest.
Reaching in the final just one time (2013/2014), Gabala also hit 2 semifinal (2007/2008, 2008/2009) and 4 times round of 8 (2010/2011, 2011/2012, 2012/2013, 2014/2015).
In their all 42 cup appearances, Gabala possess 19 wins just before coming on the pitch for striking the 20th tomorrow. There are also 14 draws and 9 losses. Gabala scored 58 and conceded 35.
In total, 143 players came on the field for Gabala in the Azerbaijan Cup championship, and Samir Zargarov is having 15-match experiences that is more than all these footballers: Dodo, Victor Mendy, Azer Hashimov (each with 13), Tornike Aptsiauri (12), Ali Ismayilov (11), Rahman Azizov and Elnar Karimov (both 8).
