Dodo, he is one of those who first come to your mind as thinking of Gabala. The Brazilian footballer, having much credentials of all Gabala fans both in and out of fields, now is back to the pitch in the Slovenia pre-season tour after his short-time slight injury. He always gives his positive effects to the whole team as he does it in the interview to gabalafc.az:
- How do you feel after a short break under injury?
- “All are well. I feel better now. It is really delightful getting back to the team after a short break”.
- How does it feel to become a standee of team proceedings?
- “Football is not just my job, but it is also my life style. So, being off soccer even in a few days is really hard to me. I love training and working on myself. It was very hard and boring for me to be off the team. I understand well that giving a break to trainings affects bad to both player and team. Now I have joined the trainings again and feel like a newborn”.
- Now Gabala are ahead of a hard marathon. Are you feeling in a perfect form?
- “Although I took a month break after the championship, I feel well in a physical form. All the physical tests also show this. Following the spiritual condition, I fell much better as the club administration are backing us. They always keep us in their worried mind and caring bout our problems. All are well also with my family, and that is why I can put my all thoughts on my job for Gabala”.
- What about the pre-season preparations? Will the team be able to be fully ready by the start of the championship?
- “The preparations are going on at a high temper. High spirits are dominating in the team as you can see it in our daily trainings. The confidence is getting higher each day.
It can be considered normal losing the earlier two matches in our current situations. There are some new players in the team and we need a few more time for them to be fitting the staff. Sure we will reach up to the right level by the season starts”.
- You were one of the bests of the team. Now will you be able to keep it up?
- “Football is a game of a team. It means if I had any success the last season, it was ground out by the team. Every player and the coaching staff have a great role in good result of game. I am convinced that Gabala will get well with the results we wish. Personally, I will set my whole efforts for this”.
- How do you think, will the new transfers be able to help the team going forward?
- “No doubt on this. They filled the gaps in the team, especially in the defensive line. Now the only thing remains to be solved is to be settled in complex form of playing. We will come up with this mission, too, toiling together”.
