Gabala reserves started to 2018 with away match against Qarabagh substitutes. The first game of the season’s second half ended in 5:3 in the favour of the team from Aghdam. Both sides added players from their first teams that well affected to the score. The red-black side responded to three shots from the hosts with Kamran Guliyev. After the break, Qarabagh scored one more fed back by double from Gabala’s Elvin Mammadov. His first shot reached Emin Imamaliyev’s squad to the season’s 50th goal.

The result left Gabala with the second loss of the term and sitting on top of the league table with 35 points.
