Fair Play message from Yuri Semin

Gabala head coach Yuri Semin comes under the spotlight again with also his valuable thoughts off game plans as a highly experienced in soccer. Working for the red-black club since the early this season, the Russian skipper feels satisfied about the Premier League matches but some shortages are not understatement, he says. Semin emphasizes on fair play rules revealing some league deficits to gabalafc.az:

"Let me give you some details about my advices to the squad on this. We welcome the rules of fair play and obey them. But we come against the case that players are the arbiters on this.  Actually it is a referee should determine both fair play or holt in game. We keep going even during conflict in the pitch. Fans do not come for watching a player falling down to be static on the turf for a minute. We have to give a stop to the game for such moments, just like 12 occasions in our away against Sumgayit. Think as if each short break takes 40 seconds to understand how much time we steel from both football and fans. Sure to stop the game for a real accident is normal which even fans can see from tribunes".

"We will go on although any accident" -- Semin adds:

"It is the right of a referee to hold the game. But if he does not do it, we will not stop and will go on although any accident. Because it is not right to stop without whistle of a referee. There is no such a rule by FIFA or in the international soccer rules that allows a player to stop the game. A footballer is not entitled to this. And our opponent teams can make their own decision just as they like. So we address to teams that Gabala will not stop until a referee"s whistle".
