56th congress of the World Boxing Council opened in Kiev, Ukraine on September 30. SC Gabala’s boxing department manager Fariz Mammadov, world champion, joined the ceremony as an honorary guest among Lennox Lewis, Evander Holifild, Oscar de la Hoya, Julio Cesar Chavez and some other world boxing legendries. The event was joined also by more than 700 guests from 160 countries. The head of the organizing committee is Ukrainian Vitali Klichko. The event went on into an open training for the Together Legendries International Tournament participants. Mammadov met world champions Vladimir Klichko (Ukraine), Amir Khan (Great Britain), Julio Cesar Chavez (Mexico), Evander Holyfield, Son Porter, Marvin Hagler (all from USA), Roberto Duran (Panama) and some others.

It was held also press conference by Vitali Klichko and one of the legendries. On October 2nd, the Ukrainian legendry and some world-famous guests will visit orphanage homes. Then boxing fans will have a chance for autographs by the world stars. The congress will go by October 5th.
