The Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Education and Sport has hosted the event on 2018 sport results of the country. After speeches by Youth and Sport Minister Azad Rahimov and Vice-president of the National Olympic Committee Chingiz Huseynzadeh, the ministry awarded winners on different nominations, as well as sport challengers, coaches, referees, federations, teams and others. SC Gabala’s vice-president Fariz Najafov and karate hero Rafael Aghayev also were valued. Najafov was also awarded with an honorary degree as Aghayev appeared also to be one of the top eleven challengers of 2018.
