Feyenoord gave Stanley farewell to leave to Azerbaijan

FC Feyenoord gave farewell to their former youth academy director Stanley Brard, who is now going to be of Gabala Football Academy with the same job. Before leaving to Gabala, Azerbaijan, the Dutch specialist was praised by Feyenoord"s General Manager Eric Gudde in a special farewell ceremony. The latter suggested that, Brard were going to work for Azerbaijan football after his 8 years with Feyenoord Youth Academy.

The web site of the Dutch football club writes where Gudde says: "There was some skepticism eight years ago when Stanley was appointed to his job, but today we need to look where the youth is now. There is now a full-time education at Feyenoord which is unprecedented in the Netherlands. Stanley has a football vision and way ahead of trainers with different backgrounds and he forged a great team including specialists".

Players and coaches he spent his last years with gave flowers to Brard and took some memorial photos with him. The new director of Gabala Football Academy appreciated all on warm feelings of them before leaving the ceremony and Feyenoord.
