First testing game played loss

Gabala defeated to Atyrau in first testing game at 19:00 Baku time in Antalya. The match-up has started by the following staffs:

Gabala: 
Pavel Doroshev, Urfan Abbasov, Nodar Mammadov, Sergey Sokolov, Lubo Baranin, Tarzin Jahangirov, Bruno da Silva, Nuran Gurbanov, Victor Mendy, Deon Barton, Yannick Kamanan.

Atyrau: 
Sergey Baychenko, Maksim Samchenko, Bayan Trxulya, Sergey Kutsov, Yegar Azovskiy, Valentin Chureyev, Nikita Khokhlov, Voin Vrankhovich, Yavor Vandev, Nivaldo, Vladislav Buach.

The fate of the game was already settled well before the break, despite Gabala were able to open scoring on 11 minutes. Victor Mendy threw the ball over the Kazakhstan keeper to head goal before the six minutes later equalizer by Atyrau’s Vladislav Buach. The Kazakhs went one better in the 24th minute through to the goalbound shot by Valentin Chureyev. 

Gabala continued with the following ten stand-ins and only Nodar Mammadov played for the full time:

Grem Smith, Sasha Yunisoghlu, Mahir Shukurov, Daniel Kruz, Elmar Bakhshiyev, Aleksandr Chertoganov, Luis Hilario Dodo, Arif Isayev, Veselko Trivunivich, Murad Huseynov.

Despite Gabala were able to control over the show during the full second half, Dodo, Veselko and Murad could not take advantage of some good situations for retribution.

Fatih Kavlak: “The game was of a hard struggle. I consider the testing match beneficial to see how well we trained, responded tactical exercises and build up physical stability. We don’t regret for the score, but the point is on crucial mistakes we made to grind out such a result. So the coaching will be fixed on those shortages for the next days”.
