Gabala won 2:1 over Erzurum U21 of Turkey at the first testing game within the training camp started from 10 June. Head coach Roman Grigorchuk gave some new transfers and substitutes a chance of making his starting line-up.

Gabala line-up:

Dmitri Bezotosnı, Urfan Abbasov, Vitali Vernidub, Rafael Santos, Yusif Nabiyev, Gismat Aliyev, Aleksey Gai, Samir Zargarov, Asif Mammadov, Rashad Sadigov, Roman Huseynov.

In the 33rd minute, Gai opened the scoring 5 minutes before Hasan Kadak shot to level.

Grigorchuk tested all three keepers – Dmitry Bezotosny, Anar Nazirov and Andrey Popovich.

The all-important goal came out from Gabala in the second period with Gai”s double in the 5th minute.
