Recently started, Judo school of Gabala Sports Club has produced its first good result. Farid Guliyev has gained the gold medal of the Open Championship held by the Children"s and Youth Sports School number 9 dedicated to the memory of deceased president Heydar Aliyev.

Farid, engaged in judo only 38 days, was born in 1998 in Laza village of Gabala. He started to judo on 1st May 2013 with the judo school organized by our club in Gabala district.

It is worth to remember  Rail Ismayilov, who is the skipper of the Gabala judo school and coach in Gabala. He is teaching secrets of judo to over 70 students.
