Gabala FITC reached to finish with the program of Summer Football Camps, something what was the 3rd in the last 3 seasons. The project was participated totally by 78 girl and boy kids enthusiastic about soccer, and they showed their passion to this field of sports digging in to study it and improve their skills. Joe Doyle, the head of the department has talked to gabalafc.az revealing more details on the camp results.
The 3-month program was managed in three different parts of Gabala district in each month - Gabala City Stadium, the sports hall of the Vandam secondary school number 2 and Boyuk Amili Stadium. It started from Gabala City Stadium with secondary school pupils of the city. The first-leg week was fixed for 35 kids ages 6-10 before 43 of 11-12 year olds. Then 26 successful kids of those earlier stages kept on progressing into the 3rd week, and they were involved in FITC trainings to last in the Gabala City Stadium.
The second month of the proceedings brought 84 secondary schoolchildren from around including Zaraghan number 1, Boyuk Piralli, Soltannukha, Boyuk Amili and Hajally. It started with 52 kids aged 5-10 and then 32 pupils of 11-12 year olds. And 25 of them succeeded to join the FITC trainings in Boyuk Amili.
And Vandam camp received 70 pupils including of ages 5-10 (49) and 11-12 (21), who study at secondary schools of Vandam number 1, 2 and 3. There especially girls caught the eye for their keen interest on soccer. The FITC picked 8 girls and 13 boys to the Vandam training centre.
