Gabala’s five footballers have been called to the Azerbaijan national team. Mahammad Mirzabayov and Urfan Abbasov (both defenders), Javid Huseynov and Araz Abdullayev (midfielders) and forward Ruslan Gurbanov will join up with the provisional squad for the training camps fixed to May 15 to 20 in Baku and May 20 to June 3 in Austria. The team will go on with the preparations from June 3 in Baku before facing North Ireland in the Qualifying Round of the World Cup 2018 on June 10.
