Gabala got the possession since very early minutes led to the opening goal in the 22nd minute when Tarzin Jahangirov fired home. Having been encouraged by the goal, the men of Yuri Semin doubled their lead with Dodo converting the superb ball home from Leonardo in the left. It took only 13 minutes Gabala to make it 3:0 when the opponent defensive line looked lost by Leonardo”s quick surge from the right before he gave a clinical finish – 3:0.
Things restarted the same way and it was Gabala attacking while Zalegerszeg backed on the defensive line. It could have been much worse for the Hungarian team with some later efforts that were off target.
Gabala are going to have their last testing match within Salzburg training camp against Chaykur Rizaspor of Turkey on Saturday.
