Gabala lost to Neftchi with 3:0 in the home of the Azerbaijan Premier League’s 6th tour. The first pace of the match started by a long-range shot by Merab Gigauri saw his effort passed wide of the goal. Although the visiting side kept up the lead with ,ore attacks, it was Gabala setting up counter attacks. Gabala’s goal keeper Anar Nazirov gave some saves to his teammates over the first period. In the 39th minute, Gabala’s Rasim Ramaldanov got injured and was replaced by Sadig Guliyev.
After the restart, Gabala looked faster with some inroads into the Neftchi defense. But the opener was scored by the opponent team with Tural Akhundov. Going more into the second period, Rauf Aliyev doubled Neftchi’s lead. In the closing minutes, Steeven Monrose scored the third goal on the show.
