Gabala ended the 21st tour home match of the Azerbaijan Premier League in a 1:1 draw. The sides were unable to break the deadlock in the first period. But it was Gabala, coached by Roman Grigorchuk, looking faster after the restart led to the opener by Steeven Monroze after a great cross by Bagaliy Dabo from the left. The goal prompted Sumgayit to step up their inroads into the Gabala defense. The visiting side leveled with Nijat Gurbanov in the box – 1:1.
