Gabala 1:2 AZAL

Gabala came on a trial match against AZAL at home within the preparation to the fixture with Garabagh to be held on 17th October as the Topaz Premier League took a short break thanks to the games of national teams.

Gabala lineup:

Anar Nazirov, Rafael Santos, Pavol Farkas, Urfan Abbasov, Ruslan Taghizadeh, Adrian Ropotan, Aleksandru Benga, Andrei Cristea, Ehiosun Ekigo, Yazalde Pinto, Victor Mendy.

The opener was scored by Gabala just a minute from the half-time with Ropotan.

After the restart, Ekigo was replaced by Markinyo, Taghizadeh by Mushfig Teymurov, Yazalde by Tellur Mutallimov and Benga by Bahlul Mustafazadeh. 

The visitors were able to score 2 to finish on top by 2:1.

Just cast your mind back to the 4th tour league match of the pair on 30th August where AZAL took the victory with the same result. The sides will meet again in the 12th tour on 20 November in Baku.
