SC Gabala is joining the 1st European Games, being held in Baku from 12 to 28 June, with 17 challengers of all 289 in the Azerbaijan provisional team. Up to 6000 sportsmen from 50 European countries will challenge for 253 medals of 20 types of sports.

The national squad will turn up in 12 sport realms for tally to the Summer Olympics 2016 to be held in Rio-de-Janeiro of Brazil.

Gabala”s 12 will come on the following 12 types of battle:

16 to 19 June – Mahammad Mahamadov, 58 kg, will appear in taekwondo matches in the Cristal Hall.
16 to 27 June – 16-27-də Lorenzo Sotomayor, 64 kg, will be boxing in the Cristal Hall.

25 to 28 June – Kifayat Gasimova (57 kg) and Aysha Gurbanly (48 kg), Ushangi Kokauri (+100 kg) will fight in judo matches in Heydar Aliyev Sports Arena.

22 June – Heydar Aliyev Sports Arena will host sambo fights where Gabala will appear with 5 challengers: Shahana Huseynova (60 kg), Farida Gurbanova (64 kg), Narmin Alizadeh (68 kg), Amil Gasimov (74 kg) and Vasif Safarbayov (+100 kg).
