Gabala won 3:0 victory on Kapaz in the 25th tour of the Azerbaijan Premier League. The home match started by mutual attacks. Roman Grigorchuk’s red-black team went too close to an early opener when Bagaliy Dabo cut through the opponent defense before off-target effort. The visiting side fed back with Dario Federico coming one-on-one with Bezotosniy. But our keeper finished clearly. A superb cross by Steeven Monroze in the right failed to find Famussa Kone. The team from Ganja gave another trouble to Gabala as Guili Manjgaladze set up 18-meter free-kick, but saw his effort passed wide.

Gabala opened the scoring in the 31st minute when Famoussa Kone’s telegraph to the box was deflected by opponent defender and the ball was capitalized by Filip Ozobic who finished clinically – 1:0. One minute later, a powerful shot from Monroze was denied by the visiting defender. Then Bezotosniy canceled another threat by Dario.

Tamkin Khalilzadeh set up Monroz with a free space in the box before the latter scored in doubling the lead of Gabala. Dabo was a part of the third goal on the show with a great pass to Javid Huseynov shot in – 3:0. As the matter was sealed well before, the second half started in poor motion. Ozobic went too close to scoring his second goal but his effort was off the target. At times Kapaz looked almost scoring one when Shahriyar Rahimov’s header was poor. In the closing minutes, Ruslan Gurbnov was set up one-on-one with the opponent keeper after a long strike passed the keeper but wide of the goal.
