Gabala substitutes hit the Reserves League Cup beating Netchi 3:0 in the home match today. Ramin Guliyev”s squad extended their points to 72 standing 13 points ahead from their closest opponents 4 tours before the season ends.
The matter of the home match was settled during the half with goals by Sahil Mirzayev and Ramil Hasanov. After the restart, Ulvi Isgandarov put Gabala one more ahead for the comfortable victory.
The win was registered as the 6th on the trot after the unbeaten streak of 15 games. The red-black side are keeping up their cleansheet run for the last 4 events, including 3 high scoring.
In their all 32 season appearances, Gabala reserves scored 82 goals with Ehtiram Shahverdiyev (20 goals), Ramil Hasanov (17), Ulvi Isgandarov (10), Roman Huseynov (5), Vadim Abdullayev (4), Ulvi Ibazadeh and Vugar Nadirov (all with 3 goals), Bahlul Mustafazadeh, Rovlan Muradov, Shamil Jamaladdinov, Vazir Musayev, Sahil Mirzayev (all with 2 goals), Aykhan Asadov, Bakhshali Bakhshaliyev, Emin Zamanov, Murad Musayev, Tural Mammarzayev, Yusif Dilanov, Mukhtar Aliyev (all with one goal). Aydın Bayramov (Ravan), Ali Aliyev and Yusif Hasanov (both from Khazar Lankaran) also scored their own goals.
The 1st cup triumph is the 5th award of the Gabala reserves including also 2 silver medals (2011/2012, 2013/2014) 2 bronze medals (2009/2010, 2010/2011). They were unable to be amongst champions only in 3 seasons, but staying always in the top 6 as they finished the 2014/2015 season 4th and 2012/2013 at the 5th place before sitting 6th for 2008/2009.
