Gabala won on Zira with 3:0 in the Azerbaijan Premier League’s 13th tour. The pace of the match started with quick attacks by the visitors. But Gabala gained the lead gradually going more into the match led to opener by Rovlan Muradov in the 12th minute.
Then Clesio Bauque and Davit Volkov went too close to boubling Gabala’s lead, but failed to score. Just before the break, Gabala keeper Anar Nəzirov set up attack followed by forward Fernan Lopez shot in for 2:0. Zira could show their best performance only with Tellur Mutallimov in the first period but his powerful shot was denied by the Gabala keeper.
After the restart, Davit came one-on-one with the Zira keeper before the referee whistled for offside. But the Georgian player could shot in his double that is registered as his fifth goal over the season. Now he is sharing the top scorer place of the league.
