Gabala, keeping up the Antalya training camp in Turkey, have undertaken their 2nd trial match against Zurich from. The red-black side won 4:0 over the Swiss team.

Head coach Roman Grigorchuk introduced the following lineup:
Dmytro Bezotosnyi, Arif Dashdamirov, Rafael Santos, Vojislav Stankovic, Mammad Mirzabayov, Vadim Abdullayev, Oleksiy Gai, Rashad Eyyubov, Sergei Zenjov, Ermin Zec, Dodo.

Yannick Breuer, Mike Kleiber, Leonardo Sanchez, Alain Nef, Vinicius Freitas, Jil Yapi, Anto Grgic, Sanyon Sarr, Maksim Domingez, Kevin Bua, Franck Etoundi

The match started by one minute silence in honour of those who died in the massacre on January 20, 1990 in Baku, Azerbaijan. After some mutual attacks, the opener was scored by Vadim Abdullayev for Gabala. The Swiss side pressed harder after the goal, but Grigorchuk”s squad held on.

Zurich seemed faster after the restart but Gabala regained the momentum pushing harder into the 2nd half that led to 3 more goals, all in 8 minutes. The goals were scored by 2 substitutes being introduced during the game with Oleksiy Antonov”s double and Samir Zargarov”s winner shot - 4:0.

It is worth to remember the earlier testing event against the Osnabruck (Germany) ended in 1:1.
