Although the match started by mutual attacks, Altyn Asyr took evident lead during the first half scoring in the 27th and 35th minutes. Then Roman Grigorchuk"s team scored one back with perfect penalty by Javid Huseynov led to gaining momentum to level, but they failed and conceded one more from the opponents on 43 minutes.

After the restart, it was Gabala leveling by 2 more goals in the 54th and 63rd minutes ending in 3:3. Starting to the training camp with a goalless draw, Gabala"s last match in Turkey appeared to be productive after all.

Just cast your mind back to goalless draw against PSV2 from Holland, defeats to Turkey"s Eskisehirspor in 1:3, Russian Kuban in 0:2, and victory over Vorskla from Ukraine (2:1), Adanaspor from Turkey 3:2, Haladas from Hungary in 2:0.
