Gabala coach Elmar Bakhshiyev talks for a post-match reaction right after the 1:1 away match against Sabail within the 5th tour of the Azerbaijan Premier League. The 38-year-old skipper says:

“We knew the game would be so hard as Sabail are a good team built up of domestic footballers. We analyzed the opponent side deeply for a week and prepared our squad well to the match. It’s gratifying Gabala are going up again in their progress after a trial against Sumgayit on September 7.

We are a new team and have no fear from any side. The team will try and show better performances match by match. We knew our weak points and need time to clear up them. Gabala will play better after injured footballers Asif Mammadov and Clesio Bauque get back to the team.

Sabail are a promising side and forced us to draw back for defense. Maybe our team were trying to protect their lead. Football is a game where you have to learn to play in any kind of weather.
