SC Gabala ending 2014 with successes not only in football but also in other different sports where our heroes hid great victories both in international and domestic championships.
Today, Saturday, at the club was a day of those Gabala heroes who were awarded by the administrative board in event. In his opening speech, Gabala”s vice president Fariz Najafov and greeted the participants in behalf of Tale Heydarov, president of the club. He expressed his belief about the successful run of the club to go on also in the next year and wished the all challengers of the club successes in their further contests.
Gabala”s fighting sports coordinator Sabuhi Garayev casted minds back to all victories of the club”s fighters over 2014, including Grand-Prix, world and European championships where they took 9 meals. Their possession includes 3 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze awards.
The event went on by rewarding all Gabala champions of 2014:
Mehman Sadikhov (judo, with world and European awards), Mahammad Mammadov (taekwondo, world champion), Nargiz Mirzayeva (taekwondo, with award from world championship), Mahammadali Tahirov (boxing award of European championship), as well as head coaches Rauf Aydinov (boxing), Sabuhi Zulfugarov (taekwondo), Ramil Ismayilov (judo), coach Rashad Mammadov (judo).
Amongst the rewarded sportsmen, there were also Ushangi Kokauri (with European judoka award), as well as coaches from the club”s departments in Gagabal Rail Ismayilov (judoka) and Ramiz Mirkamilov (boxing), who were unable to join in the event for some reasons.
