Gabala are going to face Vorskla (Ukraine) in the second testing game within the Bolu training camp in Turkey after Mariupol (2:1). Sanan Gurbanov’s team will play against the opponents in the 8th day of the camp.

Founded in 1955, Vorskla changed their names at times to Kolxoznik, Kolos, Selstroy and Stroitel, Vorskla-Neftegaz. Their successful run appears after Ukraine regained its independence. The squad played in lower leagues of USSR before reaching up the Premier League in the independent period. The squad from Poltava lifted up the domestic cup trophy in 2009, when they checked out their power also in the Supercup. They won bronze medals of the contest in the seasons of 1996/97 and 2017/18. They played in the European leagues and reached to the UEFA EL’s group stage for two times. The Ukrainian side finished the last season’s premier league seventh.
