The Sunday win over Baku sealed the 100th victory in the record book of Gabala. The comfortable win was the 230th match including 64 league, 22 First Division and 14 cup victories.

It is of interest that, Gabala make history only by comfortable results. We got the first win on 21st September of 2005 over Sharur by 8:0. And it was a league win appeared to be the 50th on 14 February of 2009 when we destroyed the Mughan gate scoring 4:0. Now the last victory also came up through 4 goals and we kept our net clear. This forum made other remarkable results for Gabala, as:

- it was 40th home victory in all league ties; 

- coach Fatih Kavlak reached to the 10th league win;

- the 58th-minute goal by Victor Mendy is the 300th of Gabala. The early three goals against Baku concluded the total 297.

- The goal by Mendy is the 100th in the Premier League at home.

- Gabala hit Baku on the break at the end of the 730-day winless streak of seven matches. For the last time, we had won over Baku on 1st May 2010 by 1:0. Then we got five losses and two draws.

- the Sunday win appeared with the biggest score in all ties of Gabala against Baku as the opponents from the capital city were able to grind out only 3-goal difference for two times until now.

- it is the 28th comfortable win in history of Gabala. The for of them came up in the current season in three league and one cup matches. The all three league achievements are of 2012.

- those 28 big wins were gained from 11 First Division, four cup and 13 Premier League matches. Two of them appeared in final. Being not successful to have a big win in the first six till this season, Gabala updated their record book.

- Gabala took the 17th comfortable victory at home from seven First Division, two cup and eight league events. The other eleven were squared at outing ties.

- the group of 13 big league wins for coaching periods includes 7 comfortable victories by Ramiz Mammadov, 3 by Tony Adams and another 3 by Fatih Kavlak.

- Baku reached to be the 19th team Gabala beat by a big win. The ties go like this: three big deficits over MOIK and Mughan, two times over Sharur, Ganjlarbirliyi-2”, Energetik, Shahdagh (Guba) and Simurg, and 1 big punishing win over each 12 opponents.

- Scoring his 9th goal in the season, Yannick Kamanan repeats the 9-goal season record of Gabala that made by Deon Burton and Luiz Hilario respectively in the last and this seasons.

- Yannick Kamanan and Victor Mendy boosted their credentials among most productive talents of Gabala by respectively their 9th and eighth goals. The range goes like this: Rovshan Ahmadov – 20, Kanan Karimov - 18, Deon Burton – 15, Vitali Balamestni, Ibrahim Huseynov – 12, Rashad Yusubov – 11, Samir Zargarov, Luiz Hilario - 10, Yannick Kamanan, Farzad Hatami, Vusal Garayev – 9, Vicktor Mendy, Fazil Parvarov – 8.
