And the opener was scored by Aubameyang in the 31st minute putting the end to Gabala”s cleansheet streak of all UEFA EL home matches.

The French footballer doubled Borussia”s lead cutting through the Gabala defense from the left 7 minutes after his earlier goal – 0:2.

After the half-time, the sides restarted by mutual attacks. Grigorchuk introduced Samir Zargarov but it was Borussia anyway keeping the ball under control.

Bezotosny could deny Hofmann on 70 minutes before his one more save for Gabala deflecting Bender”s good shot from the edge of the box and Aubameyang capitalized on the denied ball to score his 3rd.
