Gabala boxers Javid Chalabiyev and Kamran Shahsuvarly highlights the Azerbaijan national team in the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus. They have joined the tournament in the round of 32. Shahsuvarly, 75 kg, won on Giorgi Harabadze (Georgia) by 4:1 in his first tie at Uruchie Arena. Now he is going to face Mike Nevin from Ireland in the round of 16 on June 23rd.

Chalabiyev, 60 kg, beat Nikola Ivkovich from Bosnia and Herzegovina with 5:0. Azerbaijan’s world champion will face Dorin Busk from Moldova in the round of 16 on June 25.

Judoka Karamat Huseynov, 60 kg, is a part of Gabala’s all six challengers in the tournament and won on Matiaj Trbovch (Slovenia) before losing to Tornike Tsakadoea (Netherlands).

Gabala’s another judoka Ushangi Kokauri (+100 kg), karate challengers Rafiz Hasanov (67 kg) and Rafael Aghayev (75 kg) also will come on matches of the contest.
