Gabala”s 5 boxers are hitting medals from the Azerbaijan Cup championship held at the Sarhadchi Olympic Sport Complex from 7 to 10 October.Our club joined the contest on 10 weight groups.

Lorenzo Sotomayor, 64 kg, beat Heybatulla Hajliyev with 3:0 in the final. Another Gabala hero other than Sotomayor is Kamran Shahsuvarly with 75 kg ending on the 2nd place after defeating to Nikolay Veselov by 1:2.

And 3 more fighters of Gabala – Nihad Seyidov (60 kg), Elvin Gambarov (81 kg), Rahil Mammadli (91 kg) – won the 3rd place.
