Gabala Shooting Club has been awarded at the Ministry of Youth and Sport’s annual meeting on reports of 2016 held at Buta Palace, Baku. The club was highlighted because of its high-level professionality on organizing tournaments. Gabala boxers Kamran Shahsuvarly and Lorenzo Sotomayor, and taekwondo challenger Milad Beigi Harchegani also were awarded with honorary diplomas for their successful attendance for Azerbaijan at the Rio 2016 Olympics. And, world karate champion Rafael Aghayev appeared as one of best challengers of the year.
