Yesterday, Thursday, the Gabala delegation in France met FC Lyon”s Football Academy, First team and selection group before Advisor to the President of the club Bernard Lacombe, who is of the best players in all the French football history, accepted the people from Gabala. During the meeting, the senior official of Lyon interested in the details of the trip and wished bests to the coaching staff of Gabala. Following the day, the delegation have had a close look at training pitches and dressing rooms. Then they watched warm-up proceedings of Lyon just ahead of the home match against Victoria. Gabala”s tip staff also met with Lyon”s head coach Remi Gard. They remembered greetings of Gabala”s Advisor to the President Tony Adams to the French coach that was a teammate with him in Arsenal.

The head coach was provided with in-depth details about the football in Azerbaijan.

Going ahead, the Gabala men took a tour inside the Football Academy office and hostel of Lyon before they got more about the activity principles of the French club”s selection group.

Late the day, our delegation watched trainings of academy teams before seeing Lyon”s home game ended in 4:1 over Victoria. 

Now Gabala”s tripping group are expected to see more academy trainings and games, as well as to discuss some questions with the academy director of Lyon.
