Gabala district gave funeral to its hero

Gabala district gave a funeral to its military officer Sahil Hasrat Shirinov, who died during the recent fights against aggression from Armenia in Garabagh today. Born in Gabala in 1992, the lieutenant was buried in the settlement of Bum. The funeral ceremony was joined by some many officials from the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, The State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, Gabala District Executive Power, law enforcement agencies, some different offices and organizations of the district, as well as Gabala Sport Club”s senior officials, coaching and player staffs, Shooting Club members together with mass of local people, soldiers and officers who were servicing with the dead hero at the same military unit.

The crowd of the funeral on the way to the graveyard chanted slogans of “Martyrs never die, homeland is indivisible”, “Tees to tees, blood to blood for blood feud over Armenia”, “Our soldier is the best”. The victim was taken to the last home under volley fires into the sky.

The Azerbaijan flag covering the dead officer”s coffin was presented to his father.

It is honour to notice Shirinov graduated from the Azerbaijan High Military School named after Heydar Aliyev. His brother Zaman Shirinov expressed his pride about the hero who was engaged and preparing to his wedding ceremony.

Zaman wished God”s mercy to all those who gave their lives for their homeland Azerbaijan.
