Gabala have been drawn against Sherif (Moldova) for the UEFA Youth League Champions Path as the city of Nyon, Switzerland, hosted the drawing event. The red-black team, the last season’s champions, will come on the first tie on October 3 and the return match has been fixed to October 24. It’s going to be the second experience of Gabala in the continental contest. The first tie is a home match. The winning side of the pair will face the better team of the game between Herta (Germany) and Lech Poznan (Poland). The second round games will be on November 7 and 28.
Gabala, coached by Emin Imamaliyev, may host the firs tie of the second round if they take the first round. Sides winning both rounds will go into the play-off round to face second place teams for tallies to the round of 16.
