Gabala are drawn against Samtredia (Georgia) for the 1st Qualifying Round of the UEFA European League.

The home match is fixed to June 30 and the pair will meet again on July 7.

The red-black side, coached by Roman Grigorchuk, may face the winner of the match between Aktobe (Kazakhstan) and MTK (Hungary) in the 2nd Qualifying Round on July 14 and 21.

It is worth to remember Gabala”s debut at the UEFA EL in the 2014/2015 season where they stopped in the 1st QR. In the next season, they were the 3rd Azerbaijani side winning 4 stages of the continental campaign and developing into the group stage.
