Differing from the earlier two sides, Galatasaray played with a staff of players born in 1996.
The pace of the match started with mutual pressures. But the Turkish side gained possession more regularly. Gabala looked tired in the 3rd testing match-up within 6 days.
Our team could have scored on some occasions at the other end, but Galatasaray kept on going better until the finish of 3:0.
The head coach of the Gabala Football Academy Halim Ficici talks to gabalafc.az right after the game:
“The match was our 3rd in 6 days. The opponents were high-level teams. We have seen tired Gabala today after their last two lively performances. In additional, our U16 field against Turkish players of the 1996 birth, something what is a much important factor for developing academy teams.
But anyway, at times, our squad played in a high-level display we wanted to see. Even when going behind with the 2:0 deficit, Gabala did not gave a break showing big resilience. This is of paramount importance in football".
