Gabala Fight Series writing notable night

Today the magnificent kickboxing tournament of held Gabala Fight Series was held at the Gabala Olympic Complex. 

Being organized by SC Gabal with support from Youth and Sport Ministry of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan Kickboxing Federation, the rating class matches were the first experiences in Gabala with much pulsating night. 

After the start at 17:00, the contest was aired by Idman Azerbaijan and the starting whistle was hosted by Aleksandr Zaqorski, a famous ring announcer and showman.

Rahim Aliyev and Daniel Corbeanu (Rumania) were the first stepping on the ring. Our opponent was the winner after the 5-round fight.

In the second match, Azerbaijani Roman Mayilov from Ukraine defeated Polish Mateusz Kopiec.

Another warm-up fight was between our native Ramal Aslanov and Guo Xianfeng from China. Although tough kicks from the opponent, the Azerbaijani kickboxer settled the matter right in the first round. 

German Juri Kehl also finished early as Telman Suleymanov from Azerbaijan lost to him with knockout in the second round.

Croatian Teo Mikelic beat  Tadas Yonkus from Lithuanian.

Then highest-order fights of Glory Ranked Fights launched first with Lim Chi-Bin from South Korea and Mosab Amrani from Morocco. The African fighter forced his opponent to knockdown and then knockout right in the first round. The winner was awarded with the cup by Ismayil Ismayilov, deputy minister of the Azerbaijan Youth and Sport Ministry.

Being at the top of the table, Amrani says, just one day before the match, he came to Azerbaijan just to fortify his lead.

Parviz Abdullayev and Chinese Jiao Fukai met with the next fight where our native kickboxer gave a basic kick to the opponent”s belly of the bitterly disappointed opponent in the 2nd round. Jiao went to knockout after the shot and got up again long after. The cup was given to the winner by the vise-president of the SC Gabala Fariz Najafov. With the victory, our fighter earned the tally to Glory.

In the semifinal, Ramal Aslanov faced Ukranian Roman Mayilov. The first period run with the lead of our fighter before the next round where Ramal gained the victory on aggregate points.

The struggle between Juri Kehl and Teo Mikelic went much long as the early 3 periods run with no results. Following the further extra round, the German fighter was ruled as the better side.

With the next Glory fight, Dutch  Albert Kraus beat Turkish Arkan Varol at the end of the 3 rounds. 

At the match of the most heavy-weighted fighters, Jamal Ben Sadig (Morocco) faced Hesdi Greges (Egypt). Jamal fought out of rules kicking his opponent laying on the flour and was sent off by the referee. The Egyptian fighter was given the cup by president of the AKF Adil Aliyev. 

To the final match, came on Juri Kehl and Ramal Aslanov. Although looking faster during the early 3 rounds, our native fighter lost the match in the extra added round and Juri earned the tally Glory. The awards were given him by Fuzuli Musayev, the vice-president of Azerbaijan Taekwondo Federation and professional boxer Fariz Mammadov.
