Gabala ended 2014 with 1:1 draw against Inter in the last 18th tour of the Topaz Premier League at the end of the 2nd round.

The home match started by mutual attacks and early 20 minutes run under dense fog.
Ekigho Ehiosun looked close to scoring with 2 occasions but opponent Salahat Aghayev held on. The team from Baku gained the momentum after their keeper denied Ehiosun again. But the latter came out with another threat taking the ball from his teammates to fire in the box. And as Salahat deflected it again but Dodo surged forward to open the scoring. The 27-year-old Brazilian registered his 5th goal for Gabala, altogether 23rd.

But Gabala were unable to keep their lead up after the restart as Inter came from behind with 2 threats deflected by Aghayev. A bit later on, Dodo went too close to his double but he failed to touch the ball in the box. Then Inter scored back to level with Mahammad Mirzabayov”s 27 meter range shot.

In the closing minutes, Inter wend down to 10 when Elvin Mammadov was sent off with a red card. The red-black side could score one more just before the final whistle when Dodo hit the post before defenders deflected the return ball to corner.

The result was registered to be the 7th season draw of Gabala.
