Today, Gabala lost the home match to Garabagh in 1:0 at the 4th tour of the Topaz Premier League. The event started with checkup attacks from both sides and the momentum gradually went into the Garabagh half of the pitch. But the first remarkable threat came out from the Gabala side with Dodo failing to kick home after superb cross from Leonardo. Then the chance turned out to work for Garabagh into the net of Gabala when visitor Vugar Nadirov seized on mistake of Urfan Abbasov before opening the scoring.

The goal prompted Gabala to push hard but the forward line looked inaccurate with their many efforts.

The second half started quite different way with Gabala keeping up the lead until the final whistle and getting much many occasions to score. Dodo gave trouble to the side of Gurban Gurbanov before Mendy repeated the case. In the 55th minute, Leonardo"s superb shot in the box was deflected by Valiyev. Seing the increased pressure from Gabala, the visitors"s defensive line looked lost giving spaces at the back line. Leo was really the master at the left looking hard to beat for Garabagh"s defenders. Ebecilio was very close to level with his missile past over the woodwork. Mendy failed to score from the close range in the 70th minute before Dodo was dined by the post kicking the return ball after the Garabagh keeper deflected a corner.

Leonardo appeared again with cross from the left that found Mendy and Afolabi, both failing to kick on the target. The visiting keeper gave another save to his team denying Ebicilio taking the ball from the left. Another perfect goal chance swung away with a few seconds when Mendy, Afolabi and Leonardo were off target. The last threat from the read-black side of the field was produced by Leonardo with a header deflected by the post. So, Gabala were all with their much more efforts but out to score loosing the game.
