Gabala met Baku in the 26th league tour away. The match was of much importance for both sides to fortify in the leaders group of the league table. The heavy wind slowed down the game. The first half of the match run with mutual attacks giving much chances for both sides to score but the deadlock stayed unbroken.

In the second period, the course of the game developed into the progress of Gabala with better attacks led to the goal in the 80th minute. Danijel Subotic gave a power to the ball past the opponent keeper. 

 

Cooling down on their attacks after the goal, the visitors allowed one back from Baku in the 1st minute of the extra time when Elvin Mammadov shot from the spot to level - 1:1. It was the last goal of the night and Gabala gave up the important away victory at the very end.
