Gabala have ended with the 6th league tour in a draw against Neftchi at home. Head coach Munteanu introduced the team by 3 changes differing from the last match against Simurg replacing injured Dodo with Ekigo Ehiosun. Moreover, Pavol Farkas and Urfan Abbasov came on the pitch, respectively, for Ruslan Taghizadeh and Aleksandru Bengan.

Although Neftchi started faster, Gabala regained the momentum. The sides could not set up a serious threat at the ends during the first 45 minutes. It was only Gabala giving the opponent keeper trouble by 2 episodes when Ruslan Abishov"s shot swift off the target before Javid Huseynov failed to score.

Then Julius Wobay went too close to reaching Nefchi in their wish but our Kamran Aghayev gave a great save to his team.

Gabala came up to be faster after the restart and seemed as the leader side during the second period. Ruslan Abishov sent the ball to Markinyos from the left but the latter failed with the follow-up shot.

More pulsating moments came out at the Neftchi side with Ruslan Amirjanov and Ruslan Abishov close to the box. And on 68 minutes, the visitors seemed close to opening the scoring when Flavinyo hit the post. With the minutes rest, Abishov set up another remarkable moment with his long range shot. But anyway the show ended goalless reaching Gabala to their first league draw of the season and to 10 points.
