Gabala heroes fired national U19 to 3rd place

Gabala”s Farid Nabiyev and Rovlan Muradov earned the Azerbaijan national U19 team 2:0 victory over Lithuania in the Group 5 of the European Championship”s Qualifying Round. Nabiyev scored in the 33rd minute as Muradov shot in the winner during the first stoppage time.
The win over the home side sealed Azerbaijan”s place at the third of the Qualifying Round.
The red-black players are of the all 7 Gabala heroes joined up with the provisional squad. Muradov, captain Hajyagha Hajiyev and keeper Suleyman Suleymanov made the starting line-up and held on for 90 minutes on the pitch while Nabiyev was replaced on 79 minutes. Another Gabala hero is Amin Seydiyev introduced in the second stoppage time.
Suleymanov picked up a yellow card.
And Elnur Orujov sayed on the bench as Elvin Damirov was off the line-up of 18.
It is worth to remember Azerbaijan”s early two legs losing to Austria by 1:4 and to Bosnia and Herzegovina by 1:2.
Seydiyev, Nabiyev, Hajiyev and Muradov fielded in all the three matches of the national team as Suleymanov appeared in two games, as well as Orujov and Damirov came on only one event.
