Gabala coach Zaur Hashimov talks for a post-match reaction right after the Azerbaijan Cup trophy as the team won by 1:0 on Sumgayit. He says:

“It’s gratifying to talk for reaction about the first-ever cup trophy. We dedicate this great achievement to Tale Heydarov. Our footballers well responded to the tasks and hit the target. It was a tough match maybe tied to a heavy weather condition. I appreciate our all team for the trophy. Congratulates to the Gabala district and those who are with us now. We stayed back going into the closing minutes feeling the responsibility for the trophy. And we missed some scoring chances at times.

It was a good result for Sumgayit and their coach Aykhan Abbasov, too, as they reached up to the cup final experience.  

The second period was really vital for three cup final players and we remembered this to them after the water break. 

I can’t say anything about the plans ahead of the Europa League. We haven’t talked about this, yet”.
