Gabala hosted international shooting contest with 5 medals

The 2nd International Grand Prix Tournament of Olympic Shootings organized by Azerbaijan Shooting Federation and Gabala Shooting Club dedicated, as well as dedicated to the memory of Azerbaijan national leader Heydar Aliyev came to the end. The competition was joined by 150 challengers from 17 countries. Azerbaijan was represented at the contest by olympic champion

Zemfira Meftahaddinova, and Azerbaijan Shooting Federation”s secretary general, Gabala”s technical manager and Azerbaijan champion Emin Jafarov, SC Gabala”s vise-president and Azerbaijan champion Elvin Ismayilov, world cup finalist and beating Azerbaijan record, Gabala Shooting Club”s member Nurlana Jafarova, as well as famous shooters Pasha Ahadpur, Xanhuseyn Baghirov, Elchin Babayev, Alina Rafikhanova, Niyaz Aghazadeh, Alimirza Guliyev and Ali Huseynli. Rana Alasgarova and Alimirza Guliyev gained the 1st place in the 1st day of the championship.
Italian Frasca Erminio and Russian Aleksey Alipov updated the world records gaining all the possible 125 points.
