Gabala judo challengers hit ten medals

SC Gabala hit ten medals from the Azerbaijan Judo Championship.In the two-daycontest, Aisha Gurbanly, 48 kg, gained the top title as Shafag Hamidova won a a bronze medal in the same tournament. Gabala’s three more medals of women’s championship have been taken by Narmina Alizadeh (+78 kg) who ended with a silverware while Leyla Shahin (57 kg) and Farida Gurbanova (63 kg) both earned bronze medals.

Following men’s contest, Mehman Sadikhov, 60 kg, moved up to the final round after his first tie. In the all-important challenge, he lost to end at the second place. Ushangi Kokauri (+100 kg) and Jalil Shukurov (100 kg) beat their all opponents and hit gold medals. Ruslan Aslanov (100 kg) ended third as Rufat Ismayilov (81 kg) gained a silverware.

The all achievments from the domestic tournament included three gold medals, three silver and four bronze medals.
