Gabala hosted Judo Open Championship in organized together with the Azerbaijan Judo Federation. The contest brought 215 young challengers from 15 clubs with the birth dates of 2003-2004 and 2005-2006.

SC Gabala”s challengers from the home department earned 3 gold medals, 1 silver and 1 bonze as the Baku department hit 1 silver and 1 bronze. The red-black club came out as the best team of the tournament with its achievements.
