Gabala”s 3 judocas stroke 2 gold and 1 silver medals for Azerbaijan national team attending the European Judo Cup hosted by Italy in Linyano, Apennine. The achievements of our young heroes were a part of all 5 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals of the provisional squad within the 2-day tournament joined by 416 challengers from 25 countries. Azerbaijan”s team could keep their successful run to hit the title best of the Europe having their all gains on men”s fights.

Rufat Taghizadeh (60 kg) gained silver medals as Jalil Shukurov (100 kg) and Rufat Ismayilov (81 kg) hit golds. Gabala”s achievments reach to be the higest record of the club in this field of sports.

Another Gabala judoka is Usangi Kokauri fighting in the Samsun Grand Prix in Turkey, who failed to catch the 3rd place.
