Gabala judoka Fagan Guluzadeh took a bronze medal of the Grand Prix in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The red-black challenger, 81 kg, hit the achievement in the second day of the tournament beating Vahid Yosufzai from Afghanistan and Yakub Kubienic from Poland to hit the semifinal. In this round, he lost to Sagi Muki from Israel before defeating Kazakhstani Bekjan Abdullayev.

It is worth to notice the championship was joined by 183 challengers, including 91 men and 92 women, all from 27 countries.
