Gabala Sport Club held Open Judo Championship in cooperation with the Azerbaijan Judo Federation at the Gabala Olympic Complex. The tournament was joined also by challengers from Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. Altogether 450 challengers of 28 teams came on the canvas. 

Gabala’s two judokas (born in 2005-2007) won two medals. Nijat Abdulazimov (42 kg) and Tamerlan Jabbarov (55 kg) progressed into the final and ended second. 

Gismat Mammadov, 50 kg, won silverware in the challenge of judokas born in 2003-2004.  

The winners were awarded with diplomas and medals by the SC Gabala.
