Gabala came on against Maltepespor at their first-leg testing match within the antalya training camp in Turkey. The red-black squad ended in 1:1 with the Turkish team.

Gabala started better that led to the opener from Yannick Kamanan in the 25th minute. The squad of Yuri Semin finished the half on top.

Coming on the second period with a different staff, Gabala failed to keep up the lead as Maltepespor scored to level at the closing seconds - 1:1.
