Gabala have won 7:0 over Mil Mughan with the first-leg match in the Azerbaijan Cup season.

The home match against the team from Imishli started by early goal from the red-black side in the 5th minute when Derlis Meza Colli hit his debut for Gabala.

The Ruslan Abishov scored his 5th for Gabala to double the hosts” lead before Facundo Pereyra tripled it with his 5th just like Abishov.

Gabala”s comfortable lead was added by 2 more goals with Ermin Zec and Ricardinho before the half-time – 5:0.

After the restart, head coach Roman Grigorchuk introduced Asif Mammadov and Vagif Javadov, and the latter opened his scoring for Gabala in the 58th minute.

Later on, Gabala”s Gismat Aliyev was sent off after his 2nd yellow card. But the Grigorchuk side kept pushing to their 7th goal with Asif scoring in the last one of the show.

The result left Gabala reaching to their 20th cup victory and hitting a tally to the round of 8.

It is also worth to remind Gabala”s highest scoring that was 8:0 over Sharur in the 1st Division in 2005.
